iTunes 7.7 is ready to grab manually at Apple.  It’s not yet in the software update.

This is of course a prerequisite to getting the new iPhone or iPod Touch applications later today when they open the store.  We still have to wait on the 2.0 firmware (and don’t forget they will charge for that too for the iPod Touch *damn them*)  Purportedly they will have over 500 applications available, and approximately 25% will be free.  Lets see what they offer up!

For Canadians at the moment, the App Store doesn’t show up. However, if you check here there are itunes links you can use.
