Access in recent years have turned around and showing a lot of developments for owners of the Virus TI series of synthesizers.  Some would consider a hardware synth to be expensive and many are not upgradable.  Not so with the Virus TI’s… Access has announced for 1Q 2010 availability a new Virus TI OS 4.  This allows you to integrate your hardware fully with your software workstation.

Some new features are:

• Vocal Filter – otherwise known as a Formant Filter
• Comb Filter – constructive/deconstructive effect
• Arpeggiator To Matrix – Use the Arpeggiator pattern to modulate any of the functions of the Modulation matrix.  Your patches just got more complex and detailed!
• Overdrive Stomp Boxes – As with guitar amplifiers, from classic tube-based to newer solid-state ones, these six Overdrive effects can really add some distortion and punch to your sounds!
